False Humility

I have a problem with pride
so I choose anonymity
as masked humility
wen actually
it's an excuse to hide
showing my face
can mean rejection
lead to humiliation
failure and dejection
it's a risk to be humble
to be seen as you stumble
to allow space to fumble
but man is it worth it
to not be perfect
to not simply fit
and then be seen for all of it
my pride set aside
when I choose humility
not masked by anonymity
I step into being free
and it is worth the risk
